Colour
Clear, dark red with violet hues.
Aroma
Berries, vanilla, rum, toast, bitter cherry jam, dark chocolate, spices (red pepper), oak wood.
Taste
Good, full-bodied, fruity (black currants, overripe cherries, smoked and sweet plums, fig jam). Well-integrated alcohol and good acidity. Soft tannins are complemented by a slightly astringent (but pleasant) aftertaste, creating a pleasant and elegant balance.
Serving temperature
14 - 16 ºC
FOOD PAIRING
Recommended to be served with red meat, pork or lamb grills with lightly spiced side dishes, or with slightly matured cheeses.
